VISION

All T. Clay Wood Elementary School students become culturally competent lifelong leaders and learners who can successfully meet life challenges and be responsible citizens who have a positive impact on society and create thriving futures in the ever-evolving career landscape with character, integrity, and a strong work ethic.

MISSION

The mission of the T. Clay Wood Elementary School Counseling Program is to provide a strategically planned and implemented comprehensive program that is equitable, accessible, and meets the needs of all students; promotes students' personal, social, academic, and career success through a collaborative partnership of school staff, parents, and the community; and prepares all students to graduate on time with goals, a plan, and the skills necessary for a successful future.

T. Clay Wood Elementary received the RAMP designation in July 2016. This designation is awarded to schools that align their School Counseling Program with the criteria set in the American School Counseling Association National Model. The award recognizes schools that are committed to delivering a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program and an exemplary educational environment.
Mrs. Robertson and Mrs. Cunningham were honored to receive this award!
